Emerging Artists and Young Artists

We offer daily voice lessons and/or coachings, masterclasses, lectures, acting workshops, and language classes to give each participant a well-rounded experience.  ​Each student has the opportunity to work closely with all of our faculty members and will perform solo, in small ensembles, and in the full ensemble of multiple concerts with piano and/or orchestra. 
​

Some of the topics we will cover in lectures and masterclasses include

• Style and tradition in Bel Canto singing

• Writing your own embellishments

• Reading between the lines: how to interpret a score

• Finding your Italian legato in French and German

 

Sample Daily Structure​

• 9:00-10:00  Ensemble Rehearsal

• 10:00-1:00  Masterclass

• 1:00-2:00    Lunch 

• 2:00-3:00    Rest

• 3:00-4:00    Lecture or group discussion 

• 4:00-5:00    Italian Language class beginner level

• 5:00-6:00    Italian Language class advanced level

• 4:00-8:00    Voice lessons, coaching, staging

Audit Program

 

Are you a music educator, an amateur singer, or an opera enthusiast? The audit program is just right for you!

 

The program costs $1000 per week and includes:

 

• Observations of all classes, masterclasses and concerts

• Participation in cultural excursions

• Housing and partial board

• Italian classes

• Voice lessons (advanced students only - additional fee applies)
