Emerging Artists and Young Artists

We offer daily voice lessons and/or coachings, masterclasses, lectures, and language classes to give each participant a well-rounded experience.  ​Each student has the opportunity to work closely with all of our faculty members.  

Some of the topics we will cover in lectures and masterclasses include

  • Style and tradition in Bel Canto singing

  • Writing your own embellishments

  • Reading between the lines: how to interpret a score

  • Finding your Italian legato in French and German

 

Sample Daily Structure

  • 8:00-9:00    Beginner Yoga (optional)

  • 9:00-10:00  Intermediate/Advanced Yoga (optional)

  • 10:00-1:00  Masterclass

  • 1:00-2:00    Lunch 

  • 2:00-3:00    Rest

  • 3:00-4:00    Lecture or group discussion 

  • 4:00-5:00    Italian Language class beginner level

  • 5:00-6:00    Italian Language class advanced level

Audit Program

 

Are you a music educator, an amateur singer, or an opera enthusiast? The audit program is just right for you!

 

The program costs $1000 per week and includes:

 

  • Observations of all classes, masterclasses and concerts

  • Participation in cultural excursions

  • Housing and partial board

  • Italian classes

  • Voice lessons (advanced students only - additional fee applies)

 

Benefits of enrolling in the audit program:

 

  • Learn how to be a good opera patron

  • See first hand intensive training for professional singers

  • Be immersed in Italian culture

  • Learn to speak the Italian language

  • Enjoy food, wine and make new friends!

 

 

Questions? ​

A weekly option is available at $1,650 USD per week.

  • $500 deposit due upon acceptance

  • Half of balance due by May 15, 2019

  • Remaining balance due by June 30, 2019

The cost of the full program is $4,600 USD ($4,100 if the deposit is received by December 31, 2019).

Tuition and Fees 

Tuition includes all educational opportunities as well as accommodations in apartments and hotels in Greve in Chianti. Hotel accommodations provide breakfast each morning, while apartments will have a furnished kitchens for participants' use. Lunch is provided on workdays (Monday through Friday). Accommodation preferences will be honored on a first come, first serve basis.
